Admission Steps

We want to ensure that Lighthouse Learning Center is the right fit for your child/ren’s needs at this time and that their time with us will fit God’s plan for their lives. These admissions steps guide the way for families and empower them with adequate information about our values, mission, vision, and process so that we understand and agree to the path your child will take in their tenure at Lighthouse Learning Center.

Admissions Process

  1. Pray and seek God’s will for your child.
  2. Visit the website and review our vision, mission, philosophy, statement of faith, and core values.
  3. Complete the Intent to Enroll Form online.
  4. Choose a date to meet with admissions staff by scheduling an appointment.
  5. Tour the school.
  6. Complete full application online (Link will be sent to parents).
  7. Submit all required documentation:
    • Transcript
    • Immunization or Exemption Form
    • Read and sign the following documents:
      • Statement of Faith/Beliefs, Allergy
      • Authorization for Release
      • Medical Consent
      • Parent Agreement
      • Tuition
  8. Students shadow a class and provide a writing sample.
  9. The school board reviews the application.
  10. Families receive enrollment decisions via email, then pay tuition accordingly.

CORE VALUES AND PROGRAM EXPECTATIONS

WORSHIP (Col 3: 17): With family support, students are ready and willing to learn more about honoring Christ first and are (or will become) actively engaged in a relationship with Christ through either church attendance, personal testimonies or private worship. Family and student beliefs align with those of Lighthouse Learning Center’s statement of faith.

OBEDIENCE (Jer 7: 23): With family support, students are ready and willing to learn more and then obey the principles laid out in the Bible.

RELATIONSHIP (John 17: 34): With family support, students are ready and willing to make time to continuously develop a meaningful relationship with Christ first and through this relationship develop healthy relationships with staff, students and the community.

SENSE OF URGENCY (1 Pet 4: 7): With family support, students are ready and willing to commit themselves to high standards of diligent work and conscientious effort in completing the requirements of the school in their spiritual, academic, social, personal and family life in response to the prophetic times ahead.

HOLINESS (1 Pet 5: 16): With family support, students are ready and willing to surrender to Christ as they learn more about the Bible through study, to respond to circumstances or crises of life with kindness, compassion, faith, patience (see fruit of the Spirit) as the situation requires

INTIMACY (Phil 3:10).: With family support, students are ready and willing to learn the principles of social emotional learning that will activate their identity in Christ, and through this identity develop a plan for continued intimacy in Christ.

PRAYER (1 Thess 5: 17):  With family support, students are ready and willing to learn more about prayer, use the prayer room on location at the school and develop a consistent prayer schedule, to develop intimacy with Christ and get to know His plan for their lives. Students will also learn how to pray for others, the school and the community

**Registration Fee Refunds may be considered only at the discretion of the school board and according to family circumstances within 30days. No refunds after 30days. Late fee of $50 after 30 days past due payment.

Families can pay tuition in full, pay over a 10-month or 12-month period.

We request that families follow the admission procedures outlined above and submit the Intent to Enroll Form before completing a full application. Families can complete an application on our online application portal which we will send to families. Printed application forms are available below to complete after completing the intent to enroll form according to the process outlined above.  ASK US if you have questions.
